Brandon Lewis is a Host for VERIFY stories and produces content across multiple platforms. A natural skeptic, Brandon started his career in 2006 and has since shared stories with viewers across the country.
Before joining VERIFY, Brandon worked at KFMB in San Diego where he won two Emmy Awards for his coverage of immigration and public safety along the U.S.-Mexico border. Brandon has also been honored to receive multiple Emmy Awards for his reporting on some of Southern California’s biggest stories.
During his career, Brandon has covered the Boston Marathon bombings, the death of Kobe Bryant, numerous California wildfires and corruption in New York state politics.
Brandon has previously reported in San Diego, Albany, N.Y., South Bend, Ind. and Columbia, Mo. He is known for his versatility and compelling, data-driven storytelling.
In his free time, Brandon loves to travel and is a self-described aviation geek. He also enjoys giving back to the community and has supported numerous causes and organizations, including those funding muscular dystrophy research, lung cancer awareness, Wounded Warriors and members of the armed forces.
